NATIONAL SILVER MEDAL

Perpetual Delusion, 2019

Oil Paint on Canvas

40 x 60 inches

As humanity has progressed, we have become accustomed to electronics. We now rely on our phones and physical objects to find happiness rather than ourselves or each other. Alarming red serves as a warning to our developing society– we must be wary and remain connected with each other.

GOLD REGIONAL KEY

Niñez, 2020

Prisma color pencil, gold acrylic paint pen

23 x 28.5 inches

Titled "childhood", Niñez depicts the fragmentation of one's childhood memories. Subconscious mental image pictures and missing pieces of key moments in childhood rearrange and contribute to the development of the self.
